The Dual MAT 49 is a type of submachine gun in Dead Trigger 2. It is dual wielded by the Player and when fired, the guns fire alternatively in semi-automatic rather than full automatic mode (unlike the Dual Uzi). It's slower fire rate makes it suitable for ammo conservation, which proves it's worthiness in protracted fights, and it's high magazine capacity means you can fire the gun for an extended period time before needing to reload. This makes the weapon useful for clearing hordes of ordinary Zeds.
However, it deals less damage per second compared to other SMG's: such as the Kriss Vector Tactical and the PP-19 Bizon, making it less suitable for dealing with Special zombies that are resistant to bullet damage.
In real life, the guns have a folding stock and fire at a rate of 600RPM in full automatic, while in the game, the guns are used akimbo-style without the stock and are fired in semi-automatic.
